Here is how you make Mac and Cheese:

Prepare macaroni per the directions on the box.In a microwave-safe dish, melt the butter on high for 1 minute and then stir in the whole wheat flour. Add the milk and return to the microwave for 5 - 7 minutes until boiling. Add garlic, onion powder and chili powder and shredded cheddar cheese, stir until cheese is melted.Drain macaroni and mix prepared macaroni together with cheese sauce.
