1 Cup each cheese-use lite cheese when available
3/4C Sauterne wine
2T flour
1/4t nutmeg
1/2t pepper
1t sea salt
2 clove garlic, chopped


How Do I Make Cheese Fondue?

Here is how you make Cheese Fondue:

Shred or dice each cup of chesses. Add dry ingredients and mix. I use a ziplock bag. Spread garlic in bottom and sides of fondue pot with fingers. Add wine and cheese to pot and turn on high, stirring regularly until melted. Should get to a creamy thick consistency. Reduce temp accordingly.If you are using a fondue pot that does not get real hot, melt ingredients on the stove and pour into pot only to keep it warm.To add bite to the recipe add 2T Kirschwasher.
