1 28oz. can of diced tomatoes, with no salt (if you prefer more tomatoes do 2 cans)
1/2 green bell pepper
1/2 white or yellow onion
1 clove of garlic
Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning (or just salt if you prefer and cayenne pepper)
Black Pepper
3 cups of brown rice
2 tbsp of extra light olive oil
Dried Parsley



How Do I Make Jambalaya?

Here is how you make Jambalaya:

Begin cooking rice in rice cooker or pot.Heat up olive oil, then simmer bell pepper, onion, and garlic in olive oil. Then add dried parsley. Next add tomatoes with the juice from the can(s). Stir all together and let simmer a bit. Dice up turkey smoked sausage, then stir all together and let simmer. Add pepper and Tony Chachere's to the mixture (more or less for your specific taste buds). Let all simmer for at least another 10 minutes.Once rice is done cooking let cool for at least 10 minutes.Then take rice and begin adding and mixing it into the mixture.
