Spray (or paper line) a 12 cup muffin pan. In a large bowl, stir together all dry ingredients (except walnuts). In a small bowl mash bananas and mix together with other moist ingredients. Pour small bowl contents into large bowl contents and mix lightly. Batter may be lumpy. Stir in walnuts. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full, dividing batter evenly. Bake 12 - 18 minutes (my oven took 16) until toothpick in center comes out clean.
