- Apprx. 5-6 small YUKON GOLD potatoes (peeled & thinly sliced)
- Apprx. 1.5 cup of 10% cream
- Apprx. 0.5 cup of 1% milk
- Chili powder (to taste)
- Salt & Pepper (to taste)
- Apprx 4.5 oz of cheddar cheese
- Apprx 1 oz of romano cheese


How Do I Make Layered Potato Surprise?

Here is how you make Layered Potato Surprise:

THINLY slice the potatoes. In a 9x13 pan, start by placing one layer of sweet potatoes, then add a layer of sliced yellow potatoes. Add salt, pepper & chili powder between each layer. When all layers have been added, pour milk/cream over entire dish. Cover with foil and bake @ 375 degrees for apprx. 1 hour. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes, then add cheese.
