Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.Add scrubbed (skin still on) potatoes and smashed (peel removed and crushed) garlic into boiling water.Once halfway cooked add edamame (about 15 mins).Drain potatoes, garlic and edamame once potatoes are tender.Add milk, butter and salt and pepper to taste to same pot.
