cottage cheese, small curd 2% milkfat (Daisy) - 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, 9 oz
Green Chili Peppers, canned, 2 cans (4oz each)

Here is how you make Killer Rice:

- Preheat oven to 350- Cook rice per package directions, set aside- In a large saucepan melt margarine, cook chopped onions until transparent, remoe from heat- Add cooked rice, sour cream, cottage cheese, salt and pwpper , fold together gently, set aside- Spray a 2 1/2 quart casserole with cooking spray (I use a 8x11 glass dish)- Layer 1/3 rice mixture, then 1/2 cheese, and then sprinkle 1/2 of the chillies over cheese- Repeat with 1/3 rice, remainder of cheese and remainder of chillies- Finish with the last 1/3 of rice- Cover with foil and bake for 1 hourServing Size: 8 ServingsNumber of Servings: 8Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user RBRIGHT1220.
