1 cup uncooked long grain brown rice
2 cloves of garlic, minced

Here is how you make Okra, Tomatoes, and Rice:

Heat to boiling 2.5 cups of chicken broth (or one can plus enough water to equal 2.5 cups) in a large microwaveable bowl. Add the long grain brown rice & continue to microwave on high until tender. Whilte the rice is cooking, prep your vegetables. Preheat non-stick skillet. Once hot, add olive oil, onions, green pepper, and garlic. Stir until onions are translucent. Add remaining ingredients including rice and chicken broth. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until okra is tender. Makes twelve 1/2 cup servings.
