Here is how you make Kara's Fast Dinner Rolls:

Heat oven to 375Mix together 1 1/2 cups of the flour, sugar, yeat and salt. Add melted butter and warm milk and beat until smooth. Add beaten egg and mix. Add more flour gradually, kneading when required, until dough is smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.Rest dough 10 minutes.Knead dough for 30 seconds, then pat into a larger shape - to make it easy to cut into 8 equal pieces. You can leave the pieces "free form" as you cut them, or roll them into balls.Place on a lightly greased (parchment lined or stoneware is best) baking sheet, about 2" apart and rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until doubled.
