Here is how you make Scones:

Preheat oven to 425. Cut butter into flour to make crumbs. You can microwave butter for a few seconds to soften. Add "extras" if desired. Add milk and stir/cut with knife to mix. Make dough into a ball and move to greased cookie pan or baking stone. (Don't handle dough too much.) Place dough on cookie sheet and flatten dough ball to about 1" thick. Score top of dough about halfway through to mark 8 wedges. Bake at 425 for about 25 minutes. Serve warm.*Extras that can be added are 2/3 cup raisins or dried fruit with 2 Tbsp superfine sugar or 2/3 cup grated cheddar or mixed cheese. Extras are not included in nutrition count.
