How Do I Make Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Pecans?

Here is how you make Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Pecans:

In a large skillet on medium heat, toast the pecan pieces for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned and fragrant. While pecans are toasting, remove the outermost leaves from the sprouts, trim the ends, and cut in half.Once the pecans are toasted, remove them from the pan and set aside. Spray the same skillet with olive oil spray and place the brussels sprouts in the pan cut side down, evenly in one layer. Cook on medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes until well caramelized.Add the onion (I prefer the sweetness of red onion for this recipe) and stir together with the sprouts, sauteing for 2 more minutes.Add the chicken broth (be careful as the pan will be hot and may smoke a little) and the vinegar, cover, reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5-6 minutes until cooked through (are best when al dente, otherwise they will get mushy) and liquid has mostly evaporated.
