toast bread until golden. brown sausage and remove w/ slotted spoon and transfer to bowl. in pan w/ drippings, melt butter. add onions until soft (7 min.) add garlic, apple, and celery. transfer to bowl w/ sausage. mix in cranberries, pecans, bread, sage, s&p. scramble eggs in separate bowl and add to mixture. transfer to greased casserole dish and drizzle w/ broth. bake at 350 for 30 min covered w/ foil. remove foil and bake for another 25 min.Number of Servings: 12Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user ESAVIDGE.
