1/2 cup feta cheese (crumbled)

Here is how you make Best (Vegetarian) Side Dish EVER!:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees1. Peel and cube one large yam (about 1 inch cubes)Toss yams with olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder and put in the oven for 20-30 minutes (until they are fork tender and have some golden brown). 2. Slice mushrooms and green onions and set aside until the yams are almost done (5 minutes remaining).3. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter (not margerine) in a pan on medium-high heat. When butter is bubbling, add mushrooms. Let them brown, flip them and let the other side brown. When cooked, add a little bit of salt to taste.***The key to cooking mushrooms is to not over-crowd the pan, do not stir them around a lot, and do not add salt until they are done. 4.
