Beans, red kidney, 2 cup
Beans, black, 1 cup
Cumin seed, 1 tbsp
Coriander seed, 1 tbsp
Chili powder, 1 tbsp
Paprika, 1 tbsp
Garlic, 1 tsp
Jalapeno Peppers, 2 pepper
Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
salt and pepper to taste

use a large stock pan, or you can cook in a crock pot. If use a crockpot, you will need to extend the time.Saute the onion, bell pepper, and jalapeno peppers in the olive oil. about 5 minutes.Add the garlic and beef and allow to brown with the vegetables. about 5 minutes.Put the sausage in a non-stick pan and allow to brown, about 10 min, rotating to cook evenly on all sides. When the sausage is cooked, slice it in to bite size pieces and add it to the stock pot. Add all the spices (except salt and pepper) and stir, allowing the spices to cook for about 5 min.Add the canned tomatoes to the pot and stir. cook 20 min.Drain and rinse the beans, then add to the pot and allow to cook about 20 min.after a total cook time of about 2 hours, should be ready.
