* 2 C. Canned Sauerkraut (Shredded)

Season to Taste with: Mrs. Dash, Paprika, Black Pepper, Minced Onions, Onion Powder and Garlic Powder. 2 teaspoons of sugar may be added to the Sauerkraut, but it will increase the caloric intake of this recipe.

Here is how you make Slow Cooker, Country Style Ribs w/ Sauerkraut:

*Rinse the Country Style Ribs in cold water evenly season them then layer them at the bottom of the slow cooker.*Cut the onion in four sections and evenly distribute the quarters over the Country Style Spare Ribs.* Then cut the Red Potatoes into quarters and evenly distribute them in the slow cooker as well, gently season them to taste.*Add the Sauerkraut (if you are including sugar in your recipe, sprinkle the two teaspoons of sugar over the Sauerkraut).*Place the lid over the cooker and cook on low for four to six hours. Please Note: cooking times will vary based on the type of slow cooker that is used.*Once done a serving should consist of 4 oz. of Country Style Ribs, 1/4 C. Red Potatoes and 1/2 C. Sauerkraut.Can be served with Applesauce or alone.
