1 cup chopped onion
2 cups (2 -8 oz cans) tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder

Here is how you make Paul's Crockpot Turkey Stuffed Bell Peppers:

1) Put 4 oz tomato sauce on bottom of 5 quart crockpot and turn on low. 2) Cut all peppers in half and remove seeds3) Mix all ingredients except 4 oz tomato sauce in a large bowl. Split the turkey mixture into the 8 bell pepper halves.4) Put the stuffed bell peppers into the crockpot. Spoon remaining 4 oz tomato sauce evenly over the 8 stuffed bell peppers. Sprinkle a touch of Johnny's seasoning over bell peppers if desired.5) Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours. Makes 8 servings.
