Add the egg and applesauce, and beat another 2 minutes. Fold in the bananas. Combine the two flours, baking soda, and salt in a separate large bowl. Add the flour mixture to the banana mixture, 1/2 cup at a time. Spray pan with nonstick spray or butter and pour in batter. Bake for 50 mins to an hour in a 350F oven. Take out and let cool.
