2 cups banana puree (6 ripe bananas)
1 1/2 cups. Splenda (sugar substitute)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
3 cups flour
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)


How Do I Make Reduced Sugar Banana Nut Muffins?

Here is how you make Reduced Sugar Banana Nut Muffins:

Peel bananas and mash in mixing bowl (or put banana puree into mixer bowl). Add all other ingredients except walnuts in order mixing just until blended. Do not over mix or the muffins will become tough. Scoop into well greased muffin tins or paper lined muffin tins and sprinkle walnuts on top of muffins. Bake for 15 minutes checking after 12 minutes for doneness. When toothpick comes out clean they are done. Remove from oven when finished and place on wire cooling rack for 10 minutes.
