1/2 of 16 oz. jar brown rice syrup
1 13-16 oz. box of cereal such as Nature's Path Optimum Blueberry Cinnamon, Great Grains cereal, or something similar, (High in protein, fiber, whole foods, low in sugar)

How Do I Make Dee's Power Breakfast Bars?

Here is how you make Dee's Power Breakfast Bars:

The measurements aren't really exact, but 1/2 jar each of tahini and brown rice syrup make a good bar consistency for 1 box of cereal. Gently heat the tahini and syrup until warm and spreadaable. Meanwhile, in a big bowl combine cereal, dried berries, nuts, coconut. When syrup mixture is warmed through, pour over cereal mixture and stir with spatula to combine. Spray a 9x13 pan lightly with Pam. Press mixture into pan. I store this in the fridge if possible because the tahini says to store it in the fridge. But the people at Arrowhead Mills (who made my tahini) say that as long as it is kept out of direct sunlight or high temperatures, the tahini will be good for a week. If however, you notice chemical smell or taste like paint thinner, the oil has gone rancid. I know, too much information!Number of Servings: 15Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user NEWMERCIES1.
