Nestle Toll House Semi- Sweet Chocolate Morsels 1 cup chopped nuts (I used pecans) Filling: 2 - 8 ounce pkgs cream cheese, softened 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 cup sugar How Do I Make Layered Chocolate Chip Cookies?Here is how you make Layered Chocolate Chip Cookies: Preheat oven to 375F.Butter or grease 9x13 pan.Make cookie dough as follows:COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Set aside.*Filling:Beat cream cheese, eggs, vanilla extract and sugar well. Set aside.Spread half of cookie dough in 9x13 pan. Pat to smooth out. Spread filling over dough. Make rest of dough into very thin slices and gently place on top of filling (can be patted out on a floured sheet of wax paper to the size of pan, cut in sections and gently loosened with a wide spatula and each section place on top of filling). Bake 350 for 45 minutes.Cool. Cut into 32 pieces.* May use 2 - 1# pks of softened frozen chocolate chip cookie rolls (dough) instead of making your own dough. Then you would cut 1 roll into very thin slices, place side by side in the bottom of greased pan and pat to smooth out. Then you would spread filling over dough. Then cut second roll of dough into very thin slices and gently place on top of filling.
