2 cups Quaker Old Fashinoned Rolled Oats (not instant oats)
1 cup Total Bran Flakes Cereal (better yet - bran flakes from health food store)
1 cup Baker's Coconut (shredded)
1 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup Honey
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Raisins (not packed)


How Do I Make Homemade Cereal?

Here is how you make Homemade Cereal:

Makes approximately 6 servingsPreheat oven 350.Line 9x13 cake pan with heavy foil and spray with Pam cooking spray. (Cereal will stick some so using the heavy foil makes it easier to get off.)Mix Oats and bran flakes and place in oven for 10 mintues to toast the oats.Remove from oven and mix in coconut and almonds. Place back in oven 8 minutes to toast coconut. Remove pan from oven and turn off oven.In microwave safe bowl mix honey, cinnamon and vanilla. Place in microwave 10 seconds so mixture becomes running. pour over oats and bran mixture. Add raisins and mix well.Place pan back in oven to cool approximately 1 hour. Do not let cool completely as it will stick. Remove mixtrue from pan and place in air tight bowl to store. Do not place lid on bowl until mixture is completely cool.Serve each morning with milk.
