1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
1/4 cup oil
1 1/4 cups flour

1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2-3 very ripe bananas, mashed
1 medium apple, chopped
1 carrot, shredded or grated
lemon juice (for fruit)

Here is how you make Fruit and Bran Muffins:

Combine cereal and milk. Let stand 1/2 hour.In a separate bowl, mash bananas and mix with lemon juice to prevent browning. Chop apples- add to bananas.Shred or grate carrot- add to bananas & apples.Add egg and oil to bran & milk; beat well.Add rest of ingredients. Beat just until combined.
