Makes 12 pieces. Line a 9x13" metal baking pan with parchment paper, with paper hanging over sides. In large bowl, beat butter with brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. In separate bowl, whisk together rolled oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in dried fruit and chocolate chips. Fold into butter mixture. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Bake in center of 350 oven for 30 minutes. Let cool on rack for 10 minutes. remove from pan, cut into bars. Store in airtight container for 1 week.
