1/2 cup taosted wheat germ
1 cup slivered almonds
1/8 cup flax seeds
1/8 cup sesame seeds
3 Tbs brown sugar packed
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 Tbs vegetable oil
1 c. dried cherries (sweetened)
orange zest
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 c. water


How Do I Make Orange-Cherry Granola?

Here is how you make Orange-Cherry Granola:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line rimmed baking sheet w/ parchment. Mix first 8 ingredients in large bowl. Sir maple syrup, oil, orange zest , vanilla extract and water in saucepan over low heat until smooth. Pour syrup mixture over oat mixture and toss. Spread on prepared sheet. Bake until golden, stirring every 10 minutes, about 40 minutes, total. Place sheet on rack, stir granola, cool. Mix in fruit. Store in airtight container.
