Breakfast, snack or workout recovery bar! I adapted this recipe from a Plaeo blog. I subbed milk for the soy milk it called for and added the oats, fruit and nuts for taste and texture. 1/3 cup almonds, chopped

Here is how you make Quinoa Snack Bars:

Preheat oven to 375. Line a 13x9 or similar volume baking pan with parchment.Beat together eggs, milk, honey, vanilla, cinnamon and salt.Stir in quinoa and oats until thoroughly mixed.Add apple and almonds. Stir to distribute.Pour into prepared pan.Bake 20-25 min. It may look wet on the top, but it is done when it is firm in the middle.Remove cake from pan to prevent it from steaming.
