2 - 8 oz boxes Neufchatel cheese (low fat cream cheese)
1/4 c. cocktail sauce
2- 4.24 oz cans Tiny Shrimp (Great Value)
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 green onion top - sliced (optional for decorating)
1/8 tsp pimentos- (optional- for decorating)


How Do I Make Shrimp Cocktail?

Here is how you make Shrimp Cocktail:

1) Soften Cream cheese to room tempturature.(place in microwave for 15 seconds on 80% power. 2) Drain and rinse shrimp3) Beat cheese, cocktail sauce, and spices until smooth.4) Fold in 3/4 of the shrimp (about 1 and 1/2 cans)5) Pour mixture into serving bowl. Pour remaining shrimp over top.6) Decorate as desired- I used sliced green onion tops and a small spoonful (aprox. 1/8 tsp of pimentos).7) Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.This made a lot! So I'm guessing on the serving size of 2 - 3 T. each for 16 servings. This is calculated for nutrition using 16 servings as that is what the cheese served.
