1 c. self-rising flour
8 oz. bar cheddar cheese, grated (or shredded).
1 small onion, chopped
3 eggs
1 cup skim milk
2 pkgs. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained.


How Do I Make Spinach Squares?

Here is how you make Spinach Squares:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put butter in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish and melt in the oven. Remove. In a large bowl, beat eggs well. Add self-rising flour; mix well. Add cheese, spinach and onion. Mix well. Spoon into baking dish and level off. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes. Remove and let cook for 45 minutes, then cut into serving size of your choice (1 inch squares for appetizers). (I calculated calories based on recipe being divided into 15 even pieces). Squares freeze well. To serve, defrost and reheat at 325 degress for 12 minutes.
