16 oz ground turkey
2 potatoes (diced)
1 cup peas and carrots
1/2 c unpacked raisins
1 cup chopped onions
6 cloves garlic minced
2 T olive oil


How Do I Make Ground Turkey Empanadas?

Here is how you make Ground Turkey Empanadas:

Sautee onion and garlic in oil. Add ground meat and brown. Add diced potato and raisins. When potatoes are tender and raisins are plump, add peas and carrots. Add salt, pepper, lightly sprinkle curry powder (optional) and 1-2 tsp sugar. Let cool. Prepare dough. Cut both sheets into about 12 squares. Roll out till about double the size. Fill each dough piece with about 1/4- 1/2 cup filling and fold over and seal. Bake for 18-20 min or until golden brown. Makes 20-24 servings.
