What Are The Ingredients For Doc's Modified Chili Recipe?The ingredients for Doc's Modified Chili are: 3 C chopped yellow onions1/2 C chopped carrots 1 - 1 1/4 pounds 93/7 ground turkey 2 - 14.5 oz cans Fire Roasted Tomatoes, undrained 1 - 14.5 oz can Pinto or Cannellini Beans, rinsed & drained 1 - 14.5 oz can Black Beans, rinsed & drained 2 C fat-free, low-sodium chicken broth 2 T chopped garlic 3 T chili powder 2 tsp dried Oregano 2 tsp ground Cumin 1.5 tsp Mustard Powder How Do I Make Doc's Modified Chili?Here is how you make Doc's Modified Chili: Coat large skillet with a few sprays of Olive Oil cooking spray. Add onions and carrots, cook over medium-high heat until they're soft and just starting to brown. Set aside. Using same skillet, add ground turkey and cook over medium-high heat, breaking up the meat into chunks, for about 6 minutes, or until no longer pink. Add onions & carrots, add garlic, chili powder, oregano, cumin and mustard powder and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add chicken broth, tomatoes, pinto (or Cannellini) and black beans.
