Add chopped garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add ground beef and cook mixture for 5 to 10 minutes, or until beef is no longer pink. Spoon off fat to drain. Add remaining ingredients and cook on medium heat until bubbling. Reduce heat, cover, and cook on low to medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
