Here is how you make Cassie's Cheesy Corn Chowder:

Place one strip of bacon in a cold medium sauce pan, and set to medium heat. Remove bacon when crispy and set aside. Into bacon drippings, place the carrots, potato, celery, onion, and garlic. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add chicken broth, water, and spices. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and summer for 30 minutes. Add corn and creamed corn. Add milk, cheese, and crumbled bacon. Cook for 5-10 minutes until all flavors are incorporated. Serve hot.
