Wash lentils. Add to water, bring to boil. Cover, reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. While lentils are cooking, saute onion & garlic in olive oil until golden brown. When lentils are tender, add dry spices, bouillon, and onions. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add lemon juice & stir. Garnish with chopped parsley and paprika, if desired.
