1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 14 oz can diced tomatoes, with juice
1.5 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup red wine (can substitute white wine, clam juice or extra chicken broth)
Parsley & Basil to taste
8 oz peeled, deveined raw shrimp
4 oz. tilapia or other fish, cubed
4 oz crab meat


How Do I Make Seafood Stew?

Here is how you make Seafood Stew:

Heat oil in large saute pan. Add onion and garlic and saute until translucent. Season with parsley.Add canned tomatoes, broth and red wine. (Again, any combination of broth, wine or clam juice can be used - just add 2 cups liquid. Season with basil, and salt and pepper if needed. Cover, and simmer for a minimum of 30 min. (Can simmer for up to two hours.) You can also add red pepper flakes if you like a spicier stew.Add seafood and bring back to boil. Cover, and simmer another 5-7 minutes.
