Here is how you make Spiced Apple Cake:

Mix and Bake Spice Cake as directed using 2 9" pans (I use fluted flan pans). Cool 10 minutes then remove from pans and cool completely.Mix together softened Neufchatel cheese, Sugar, Milk, and Vanilla until smooth. Spread on top of cake (if using Flan pan - spread in 'well' of cake)Divide Apple Pie Filling in half - topping each cake evenly. Sprinkle Cinnamon on top.Slice each cake into 12-14 pieces. Top, if desired, with Cool Whip when ready to serve! Refrigerate left overs.Makes 24-28 servings.
