This is a delicious take on another recipe here on spark. This yummy breakfast option has less than 200 calories, is very filling, and can be made in about 10 minutes! Since sucanat (sugar cane natural) is used in place of sugar, it is a much healthier, much more natural way to enjoy a slightly sweet treat. If you are unfamiliar with sucanat I suggest you read a little bit about it and give it a try. It's good for you, for the farmers and for your family. And once you cut back on refined sugar (white/granulated) this will definitely be sweet enough for you. Although, I will warn, that if you are used to having refined sugars in your oatmeal this won't taste sweet at all. Feel free to add a couple teaspoons of sugar to it if you like, just don't forget to track them separately!
