Here is how you make Pecan bars:

Combine flour, sugar, salt in lge. bowl; cut in 3/4 cup butter thoroughly with fork or pastry blender until fine crumbs. Press mixture into greased 13X9 cake pan. Bake at 350 for 17-20 min.Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, 1/2 c. butter in saucepan; bring to boil over med. heat, stirring gently. Remove from heat. Stir 1/4 hot mixture into beaten eggs; add to remaining hot mixture. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Pour filling over crust. Bake at 350 for 34-35 minutes or until set. Cool completely before cutting.
