2 oz Gruyere Cheese , finely shredded (about 3/4 cup)
1 tsp Sage leaves, fresh, chopped

Preheat Oven 350 degrees with 1 rack in the middle position and 1 rack 6 inches from broiler (for broiling later).Grease an 8-inch square dish with butter. Stir together pumpkin, eggs (beaten), whipping cream, salt, pepper, & nutmeg in a large bowl until ingredients are blended.Stir together panko, cheese, melted butter, and sage in a small bowl.
