Substituting fresh pineapple & mango for frozen is optional, but using frozen forgoes the need to crush ice.Add some rum, and you have a killer cocktail! For the calorie conscious, it can be removed, but it really makes it amazing. 1/3 to 1/2 cup skim milk or coconut water ---Note: this can be omitted: It just makes it all easier to blend together 1/2 packet of Truvia 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks 1/4 cup frozen mango chunks Optional: 1/8 tsp. vanilla extract Equipment: A hand immersion blender with mixing cup or a blender How Do I Make Banana Mango Colada Smoothie (yes, for breakfast!)?Here is how you make Banana Mango Colada Smoothie (yes, for breakfast!): Blend the bananas, coconut cream, milk, & Truvia until banana is pureed.Blend in remaining ingredients until smooth.Note: For the easiest blending, add remaining fruit in increments, allowing the fruit to puree before adding more.Makes (1) 12-16 oz. serving (definitely enough to fit in a travel mug)For an even better treat:1) Reduce the amount of mango in the recipe. 2) Blend frozen mango chunks and the remaining 1/2 packet of Truvia & make a puree. 3)Line a clear glass with the puree & then pour the banana smoothie.Do not feel obligated to follow this recipe exactly!
