Here is how you make Bean Surprise:

Soak beans overnight and part cook, approx 30 mins.Chop onions and garlic and cook in olive oil until clear. Stir in chilli and Vegeta or salt.Add roughly chopped tomatoes and carrots and simmer until the tomatoes fall apart (5-10 mins)Rinse partly cooked beans, and add to tomato mixture along with a cup of water.Simmer until the beans are cooked through.
