Wash and soak 1 lb of dried navy beans, place in slow cooker, cook on low heat for approximately 5 hours or according to your personal slow cooker. This recipe can be made on the stove top as well. Cook beans as package directions. Add Taco seasoning mix, salt, pepper, garlic, cumin, paprika, and cumin. You can skip the added ingredients if you add two packages of taco seasoning mix. I prefer to use a combination of both. Allow seasonings to cook into the beans a little before serving.Enjoy with a side of organic bean and rice chips or top with cheese.
