1 3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup pureed butternut squash
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 oz, shredded cheddar cheese

Here is how you make Not Your Mom's Mac and Cheese:

Put a large pot of water on to boil. When it boils, put in package of macaroni, and cook 6-7 minutes until al dente.In a small sauce pan, melt butter and mix with flour. Cook for 1-2 minutes until thick. Add the milk, slowly, and whisk. Cook for 5 minutes or until bubbly, then stir for 1 minute. Add the butternut squash and nutmeg. Stir to combine and let cook for 2-3 minutes on LOW! Add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted.When pasta is ready, drain and combine with the cheese sauce.
