6 cup Oat Meal (Quaker Oats - Old Fashioned - dry)
1 cup, packed Brown Sugar
.5 cup Honey
8 oz (24 whole kernels) Almonds
1 cup Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins)
1 cup, halves Apricots, dried
1.5 stick Butter, salted
1 tsp Cinnamon, ground
.5 tsp Salt
1 cup, hulled Sunflower Seeds, without salt
5 serving dried coconut (about 1 c)


How Do I Make Great Granola?

Here is how you make Great Granola:

Mix all ingreients except honey and butter in a large bowl. Can shop up almonds and dried apricots into smaller pieces. In saucepan, mix butter and honey and warm to melt. Pour over oat mixture and toss. Spread granola onto parchment lined baking sheet. Bake 35-40 min stirring occasionally until oats are toasted and sugar begins to carmelize. Cool completely on pan. Store in airtight container. Can add other things like - flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, raisins, etc. Just add to nutritional calculations too.
