Here is how you make Basic granola:

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Heat syrup, cinnamon & salt in a saucepan over medium high heat. Stir occasionally until boil, remove from heat.Mix all other dry ingredients except for fruit in a large bowl, then add syrup. Mix well. Pour out onto a large lightly greased baking pan & spread mixture evenly. Bake for 35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Pour baked mixture back into bowl & fold in fruit.
