Here is how you make Mediterranean Lentils:

Preheat wide skillet to medium heat. Saute onions, cumin, cinnamon, cayenne, and salt in oil for about 10 minutes, until onions are translucent. Add lentils and vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cover for 30 minutes. Uncover and add tomatoes and raisins. Again, bring to a boil then reduce to simmer and cover. Cook for 10 more minutes, until lentils are tender.
