Heat the oil over medium heat. Add the shallots, cook until just soft. Add the mushrooms. Cook until the mushrooms are cooked through, about 10 min. Add the flour to the pan and stir mushrooms and shallots until evenly coated. Gradually add the water while stirring. Cook over low heat until desired consistency.
