Here is how you make Moujadara with Rice:

This makes 6 servings-- big servings too. Serve with pita bread and salad.Put lentils in a deep pan, add water and bring to a boil for a few seconds. Then simmer for 20 minutes, add spices and rice. Keep simmering for at least 20 minutes, or until rice is tender (add water as needed). Meanwhile, heat oil in a seperate pan. Fry the onions until dark brown, then remove onions with slotted spoon and set aside. Add the used oil to the rice and lentil mix. Stir gently, then cook for five more minutes.
