2 large Cucumbers (I leave the peel on for extra vitamins and
fiber)
1/2 small Onion
1 large Sweet Red Pepper julienned
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1/2 fresh squeezed juice of 1 Lemon
2 tsp. Hot Garlic Sauce
Sea Salt to taste

Here is how you make Arame Salad:

Place the arame in a bowl with ample cold water to cover and let stand until rehydrated, about 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and drain well.To put the rest of the salad together:Wash your cucumbers and cut the ends off. Slice thin and place in bowl.Slice half of a small onion into paper thin slices and place in bowl.Julienne the red pepper and place in bowl.Add the rest of the items to bowl and mix in really well.You can eat as is but it tastes much better the longer the flavors marinate. I usually leave mine on the counter for at least an hour. I do not put into the refrigerator because I don't want the sesame oil to congeal.
