Sesame Crunch Bars

Great homemade energy bars with a lot of potential to be customized. Try fresh coconut, almond butter, and raisins or cranberries instead of chocolate chips to shave some fat off. If you like them more crunchy, you can use maple syrup instead of honey, but I prefer them slightly chewy. Cut all and wrap individually in plastic wrap for quick on-the-go food all week, that even the kids will eat.

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until all sesame seeds stick to mixture. Press mixture very firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch cake pan that has been well sprayed with non-stick spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until top is golden brown. If it does not get brown on top, it will not cut properly. Cool well before cutting.
