What Are The Ingredients For Everything Green Smoothie Recipe?

The ingredients for Everything Green Smoothie are:

1/2 stalk Celery, raw
1/2 Carrot (small to med), raw,
1/2 cup Fresh Parsley - stems and all (I use about 1/2 a handfull)
2 cups (or one large handful) Spinach, fresh (frozen works too, but use less. Maybe about 1/2 cup)
1/4 to 1/8 depending on size whole Cucumber (with peel),
1 slice Ginger Root (about 1")
1/4 Apple, fresh (red works best for sweetness)
1/4 Orange (this is the only item I peel)
1/2 cup Grapes, green (you can use red grapes but it may make the smoothie not green)
3-4 Whole Strawberries, frozen, unsweetened
1/2 Banana, fresh (or frozen)
1/4 cup Mango, frozen
1 Tbsp Flax Seeds
1 scoop Designer Whey protein powder French vanilla (I get this from Trader Joes and it is only 100 cal)
2 scoops Fiber Wise Fiber Powder (Harvest Peach or citrus flavor)(I get mine from Melaleuca online)
1 large glass of ice cubes
1/4 cup Milk (to thin)


How Do I Make Everything Green Smoothie?

Here is how you make Everything Green Smoothie:

Add all ingredients and blend until smooth. I use a Vitamix mixer and it can handle all the items whole including the flax seeds. But with a regular powered blender you may need to cut up each of the items small, grind the flax seeds first, and use crushed ice. All the quantities I just eye ball so experiment to your own taste. As for the spinach you can use any dark green and any mixture of fruits will do too. These just happen to be my favorite. I often use pineapple or melon or whatever I have on hand in place of the mango. I have also used orange juice or chocolate soy milk in place of the regular milk. It all taste really good. If you need more sweet (especially if you use a green apple), add 1-2 tsp of local honey and give your allergies a boost too. Number of Servings: 2Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user JGCUTEE.
