My son loves to help me make this nutrient-dense smoothie for breakfast. When you include blueberries, veggie-shy kids won't know that the drink is brimming with healthy minerals and extra protein from the greens that have "sneaked" their way into it! The nutritional yeast contributes extra B-vitamins and proteins, and the ground flaxseed provides healthy Omega-3’s. I also use Stevia powder as a natural, sugar-free sweetener, adding no calories and some extra fiber. This recipe is dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan.
